Welcome to Healthy Roots Dentistry. In addition to providing excellent dental care, we examine the whole relationship between your oral health and the rest of your body. Our holistic approach to malocclusion, gum disease, and other disease processes originating in the mouth can be an important step in your health journey. Dentistry is an integral piece of your healthcare puzzle and we network with holistically minded healthcare providers to get you to your best version of health.

In addition to basic dental training, Dr. Garrett has gone through training and ongoing education as a holistic dentist. We will strive to offer you the most biologically compatible long-term solutions as well as preventative care that can help detox, strengthen, and enrich your entire body.

Healthy Roots Dentistry is mercury safe and fluoride free. Please visit our holistic dentistry page to learn about the difference between “mercury free” practices and “mercury safe” practices. We are S.M.A.R.T. certified and follow mercury removal techniques suggested by the I.A.O.M.T. (International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology) We only offer metal-free crowns and fillings. We also provide supplements and nutrition counseling to help aid in healing and detox of traditional dental procedures.

I recently went to see Dr Garrett to have an old amalgam filling removed and replaced with a healthier material. I was impressed by the high tech way they operate to protect the patient, doctor, and his technician during the procedure. Dr Garrett is meticulous in the way he does his work: he also spent a good deal of time making sure my bite was correct afterwards. I definitely recommend him!
